Symptoms of Lipid Disorders

Lipid disorders do not cause symptoms. However people with a certain type, or those with very high cholesterol may have:

  • Yellowish nodules around tendons and joints such as elbows, hands, or feet
  • Raised yellowish patches above the eyelid
  • White arcs around the cornea of the eye
