The goal of treatment is to restore normal sexual function whenever possible. The treatment and management of erectile dysfunction involves medications, psychological counseling, lifestyle changes, and attention to other medical conditions that may be causing dysfunction or affecting sexual function. Surgery may be an option for some men.
