Dupuytren Contracture

Dupuytren contracture is a thickening of tissue in the palm of the hand that causes one or more fingers to curl in toward the palm.

It can make it hard or impossible to move or straighten the fingers. It does not cause pain. It is treated with medicine in early stages. It is treated with surgery when medicine is no longer helpful.
