Prickly ash is a tree. The bark has been used to improve oral health and reduce cold-like symptoms. Prickly ash has also been used to improve blood flow. It can be taken as an extract.
There are no advised doses for prickly ash.

It may be safe to take prickly ash in small doses for a short time. Not enough studies have been done to say whether it is safe to use for a long period. It is also not known whether it is safe to take by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
