Other Treatments for AIDS
People with HIV infection or AIDS have a higher risk of certain cancers. Any care plan will depend on the type of cancer you have.
This may involve treating:
- The effects of the virus and how the immune system works
- The cancer with chemotherapy or radiation therapy
- Other problems such as anemia, wasting, bleeding, and seizures
