Reducing Your Risk of Brain TumorsThere may be very little you can do to avoid primary brain tumors. You can do nothing about your heredity, which is one of the few known risk factors. Avoiding radiation and toxins is desirable, unless the radiation is used to treat a cancer. While it is difficult to reduce your risk of primary brain tumors, you can reduce your risk of tumors that may spread to the brain, including lung, breast, melanomas, and prostate.
