Symptoms of Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is silent. Most people don’t have symptoms or know there’s a problem. A broken bone is usually the first sign. This most often happens in the wrist, spine, or hip.

If present, symptoms may cause:

  • Long term back pain
  • Stooped posture— kyphosis
  • Bloating
  • Feeling full quickly while eating
  • Breathing problems
