EDITING AND ADDING CONTENT

Editing and adding to Health Library entries, by MediaWorks user, is allowed only under the following conditions:

• MediaWorks user agrees to remove author byline
• MediaWorks user agrees to remove Last Reviewed Date and Reviewer Name and information
• MediaWorks user agrees to keep the EBSCO Copyright Statement
  • Copyright (c) 2010 EBSCO Publishing. All rights reserved.
• OR List EBSCO as the source using this message: “This content was created using EBSCO’s Health Library,” and to add a line in the document stating: “Edits to original content made by (Affiliate Name)” or similar.

USE OF IMAGES AND THIRD PARTY CONTENT

Content that EBSCO Publishing licenses from a third party cannot be used. Licensed content includes:

• All health calculators/self assessment tools
• All Nucleus Medical Media Inc. images
• All HealthDay newswire information and images

GENERAL

Failure of MediaWorks user to adhere to these outlined terms will put the MediaWorks user in breach of contract. MediaWorks user agrees that when the subscription to Health Library expires, MediaWorks user will remove all content derived from EBSCO’s Health Library. As long as the subscription is in good standing order, MediaWorks user can continue to display the derived content. Once a lapse in service occurs, MediaWorks user must remove the EBSCO-derived content or be in violation of copyright.
