Surgery may needed in people with sinus headache, such as when you have problems in the nose passages or growths that block them from draining. It is rare for other headaches.
If other steps don't help your cluster headaches, some doctors may suggest cutting or harming some nerves in the face. But, the nerve may grow back.

FESS opens the passages of the nose to make them drain better and let the sinuses go back to normal. A thin tube is put in the nose to look at the openings into the sinuses and to remove anything blocking them. This may be done with the help of a CT scan.
There are many surgeries that could be done if you don't get better with other methods. Nerves may be stimulated or harmed to do this.
