Tratamientos para Esclerodermia

Desafortunadamente, no hay tratamientos disponibles para curar la esclerodermia. De manera similar, ningún tratamiento ha probado desacelerar el avance de la enfermedad o modificar su transcurso, aunque con frecuencia se prescriben numerosos medicamentos con la esperanza de alcanzar este objetivo.

Objetivos del tratamiento incluyen:

  • Tratar síntomas existentes, como fenómeno de Raynaud, artritis, presión arterial elevada, dificultad para deglutir, entre otros.
  • Proteger a la piel de daño adicional
  • Apoyarlo a usted y a su familia para que usted pueda aprender a vivir con los efectos de esclerodermia
