Introduction

Cola nut refers to the nut that comes from the tropical cola tree. It has been used like caffeine to ease fatigue and increase energy. Cola nut has also been used to promote weight loss and reduce headaches and migraines. It can be eaten whole or taken as a pill, powder, or extract. Cola nut can also be made into a tea.

There are no advised doses for cola nut.

Safety Notes

It is likely safe to take cola nut in small doses for a short time. Large doses should be avoided especially by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Not enough studies have been done to say whether it is safe to use for a long period.
