Tratamientos para Infertilidad en Hombres

El tratamiento y control de la infertilidad en hombres dependerá de la causa o causas subyacentes de la infertilidad. El tratamiento se enfocará en corregir cualquier anormalidad estructural u hormonal que pudiera estar influyendo sobre la fertilidad. Esto se puede llevar a cabo mediante medicamentos o cirugía. Los cambios en el estilo de vida y otros tratamientos, como tecnologías reproductivas asistidas (ART) se pueden usar para aumentar la calidad del semen e incrementar la probabilidad de fertilización.

El objetivo final del tratamiento para infertilidad es un embarazo que termine en el nacimiento de un bebé saludable. Los tratamientos para infertilidad pueden ser prolongados y costosos. No siempre son cubiertos por el seguro médico, y no siempre son exitosos.
