El propósito de la revisión es el diagnóstico y tratamiento tempranos. Los exámenes de revisión por lo general se administran a personas sin síntomas actuales, pero que podrían estar en alto riesgo de ciertas enfermedades o condiciones.

Actualmente no hay indicaciones de revisión para GERD/acidez estomacal.
